Fryderyk Chopin Baltic Philharmonic
The Polish Baltic Fryderyk Chopin Philharmonic in Gdańsk is the largest musical institution in northern Poland. For years, it has welcomed some of the finest Polish and international artists, attracting music lovers from across the country and beyond.
It is here that music inspired by Japanese animation meets the sound of a symphony orchestra. Anime Symphony is a chance to hear iconic songs performed by talented musicians and singers. Solo performances will highlight the individual characteristics of each beautiful melody. The artists we invited spent years honing their vocal skills: they are associated not only with music, but also with manga, anime and Japanese culture. We are extremely pleased with their support and we are delighted to be able to promote Polish vocalists during the concert.

Symphony Orchestra
The Stanisław Moniuszko Koszalin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra is the oldest symphony orchestra in the Central Pomerania region, established in 1956. Throughout its history, the orchestra has been dedicated to artistic excellence and to sharing the beauty of live music with audiences of all ages.

Choir - Cappella Gedanensis
Cappella Gedanensis is a renowned vocal and instrumental ensemble from Gdańsk, continuing the traditions of the historic City Council Chapel, whose origins date back to the 16th century. Since its founding in 1981, the ensemble has been dedicated to performing early music, with a particular focus on the works of Gdańsk composers as well as masterpieces of the European Baroque and Classical repertoire.
Recognized for its artistic excellence and extensive concert experience, Cappella Gedanensis is one of Poland's leading musical ensembles. During the Anime Symphony concert, the choir joins the symphony orchestra to bring the music of anime to life, adding powerful choral textures, monumental sound, and emotional depth to the live performance.
Arrangement
The arrangement during the concert is responsible for Krzysztof Ratajski - Composer, pianist, arranger.
A graduate of master's studies in composition under Professor Zbigniew Bagiński at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In addition to composing classical music, he is also involved in jazz and piano improvisation. He also has experience as a composer for film music, theater, and video games. In 2015, he received the first prize in the nationwide Ochlewski competition for his piece "Rebounds".
In 2020, he received the second prize in the nationwide Mycielski competition for his piece "Quarantella". He believes that the greatest joy for him as a composer is actively participating in his works as a performer. He is a member of the Polish Composers' Union.
Since 2017, he has been arranging and composing for the Heroes Orchestra and several vocal ensembles such as "Omnis Mea" and the SGH choir, where he also sings and plays. His works have been performed in Poland, Spain, Mexico, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

The Polish Baltic Philharmonic is located on Ołowianka Island in the heart of Gdańsk. For visitors arriving by train, the most convenient option is to travel from Gdańsk Główny (Main Railway Station) by public transport, taxi, or on foot through the city's historic center. The venue is approximately 2 km (1.2 miles) from the station, which takes around 25 minutes on foot. Parking facilities are also available nearby for guests arriving by car.
